CLOTHES LINES:Elaine Madigan is defying the recession by opening a new shop in a cloud of optimism. She has just opened her boutique, called Couture, in Naas, Co Kildare, selling fragrance, fashion and accessories.
Her perfumes come from Italy and France, her collection of clothes, handbags and accessories from Ireland, France, Germany, Denmark, Italy and the US and many are exclusive to her. From Ireland, she has sourced the two-in-one handbags of Ana Faye (the award-winning Sligo-based designer of whom we have written before), the colourful knitwear of Heather Finn, and fashion from Denise Assas, the Dublin-based French designer better known for her wedding wear. This coat is by Lola and costs €325 and the Lola dress is €280. Couture can be found in the Atrium at John’s Lane, Naas, Co Kildare, close to Lawlors Hotel.
