Celebrating Wicklow

My Place on Canvas, an art exhibition celebrating the Wicklow landscape, is the culmination of a three-year project by local artist Rod Coyne. He invited celebrities and members of the public to nominate their favourite part of the Garden County to be painted in his distinctive plein air style. Notable contributors include former rugby international Shane Byrne, Stephen Donnelly TD and Ross O'Carroll-Kelly creator Paul Howard.

The 30 works will be unveiled alongside text telling each painting’s personal back story. The exhibition at the Courthouse in Tinahely, Co Wicklow, will run for a month until Christmas.
