Beauty bootcamp for teens this summer

School's out soon and it can be a long summer for teenaged girls. Avoid those fake-tan disasters and moans of "I'm bored" – give your daughter a treat of a one-week "Total Teen Beauty Bootcamp" at 34 Fitzwilliam Street Upper, Dublin 2. Run by beauty writer Liz Dwyer, it promises to be a week of creative, hands-on workshops having fun with hair, skincare and make-up. The course also aims to instil confidence and impart grooming skills for life.

The fee includes all products, tools and equipment and a goody bag worth €50 of make-up brand "essence" products. There are two levels, junior and senior. They take place Monday to Friday, 10am- 4.30pm, and cost €200 for each participant, on June 22nd-26th, July 20th-24th and August 10th-14th. beauty-bootcamp.com
