Irish abroad: What’s the biggest issue facing women where you live?

Events will take place around the globe to mark International Women’s Day this coming Thursday, March 8th. This year, the theme is #PressForProgress, striving for gender parity after the World Economic Forum’s latest Global Gender Gap Report found gender parity is still more than 200 years away. No doubt #MeToo, #TimesUp and other movements will also be prominent this year.

Ahead of International Women’s Day, we want to hear from more readers around the world. What is the biggest or most pressing or current issue facing women in the country where you live in 2018?
