Emigrant nurses: Would you return to Ireland?

Kathleen Lynch asks Irish nurses abroad to consider returning to fill posts left vacant by retirees

More than 1,000 nurses are set to retire from the health service by next June, and the Minister for Primary Care Kathleen Lynch is asking nurses who have emigrated to consider returning to fill the vacancies created by their retirement.

Thousands of nurses, mostly young graduates, have emigrated to countries like Australia and the UK in recent years because of the recruitment embargo in the health service. If you are one of them, would you consider returning?
