Pilot Bernice de Neve and Johanna Harpur, director of a family computer-aided design business, joined forces to set up their brand of inexpensive fashion jewellery that features many items with a vintage edge as well as wrap and charm bracelets at prices from €16-€90.

Harpur de Neve is now stocked in 18 House of Fraser shops in the UK, while Aer Lingus has just included its porcelain doll earrings (€36) in its latest inflight magazine.

Other Irish boutiques are also fans, most recently Mary Greene of Divine, Co Kildare, who is selling the collection in her Maynooth shop and online at divine.ie
