Diamonds are forever with Margaret O’Rourke’s new collection for MoMuse

Stylefile: Mary Grant’s new a/w collection features her familiar layering with new colours

Margaret O Rourke’s new diamond ring collection for MoMuse, her boutique in Powerscourt, comes in 9ct and 18ct gold and is designed, made and hallmarked in Dublin. It follows on from her original diamond stacking rings and features white and black diamonds directly sourced from Antwerp, Belgium. Her format is a circle of diamonds for rings, earrings and simple circle pendants and from a love of stars, a new moon and star collection in 9ct gold and diamonds. The gold filled collection features new grey cluster earrings (€75), bracelets (€55) teamed with gold filled bangles (€110 each) and long baroque pearl pendants (€145). Find them in her ground floor boutique where they have a dedicated new display in the Powerscourt Centre or visit momuse.ie.

Pinning it up

Known for her pinafores, dungarees and a look that is a signature mix of glamour and grunge with its asymmetrical cuts, Mary Grant celebrates 25 years in the fashion business this year. Loyal fans love her basic jerseys with their forgiving fits which are well known for holding their shape after every wash and the way in which they become building blocks for a comfortable working wardrobe. Her new autumn/winter18 collection features her familiar layering with new colours complementing favourites from previous seasons.

“We are seeing pieces from 15-20 years ago, now being worn by the next generation”, says the designer proudly. She was voted SME Businesswoman of the Year in Kildare earlier this year and is currently writing a book to be published in 2019. Her new collection can be found in her stores in Newbridge, Co Kildare and in the Powerscourt Centre, Dublin.
