This weekend an exhibition of historic vestments spanning almost 150 years will be on display in St Mary’s Church in Haddington Road, Dublin, to coincide with the opening of the Eucharistic Congress at the RDS. To mark the event, Louise Kennedy has donated a specially designed chasuble inspired by the architectural features of the church in handbeaded French silk made in India. The exhibition opens today at 3.30pm and will continue on Sunday and Monday from 9-7pm.
