A male cyclist (60s) has died after he was involved in a collision with a car in Co Kerry this morning. Gardaí and emergency services are currently attending the scene of the collision on the Killorglin to Cromane Road.
The cyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. His body has been removed to University Hospital Kerry where a postmortem will take place.
A woman (20s) has been arrested and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in the Kerry region.
The road is currently closed for an examination by forensic collision investigators. Local diversions are in place.

Any road users or pedestrians who may have camera footage (including dashcam), and who were travelling on Killorglin to Cromane Road, this morning between 8:20am and 9:00am, is asked to make this footage available to gardaí.
