Two people have died following road traffic incidents in counties Kerry and Galway on Sunday evening.
A man in his 20s died in Co Kerry after his motorcycle and a car were involved in a collision on the N21 at Killally, Castleisland at around 7.50pm. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and no other injuries were reported.
A Garda spokesman said a stretch of the N21 at Killally was expected to remain closed for some time with forensic collision investigators due to attend the scene on Monday.

Separately, a man in his 60s died following an incident involving three vehicles in Ballinasloe, Co Galway. The crash happened at the Ashtree Junction at about 6.30pm.
The driver of one of the vehicles involved was taken to Portiuncula University Hospital where he later died, a Garda spokesman said. One other person was taken to hospital as “a precaution”.
Gardaí said all approach roads to Ashtree Junction were closed on Sunday evening and would remain so overnight, with local diversions are in place, as the services of Forensic Collision Investigators had been requested at the scene.
