How do you get to the gig?Always a big van due to the ridiculous amount of equipment we bring to each gig.

What's the best gig you've been to?Electric Picnic 2006. We played a very memorable show in the Body Soul area and finally got to witness Kraftwerk live. An amazing weekend.

And the worst?Mantua Festival.

Who is the most famous person to have shown up at one of your gigs? The dude from The Devlins? So, to answer your question, nobody famous has been to a Halfset gig yet.

Most embarrassing on-stage moment? The Spiegeltent 2004. Our volume was cut by 50 per cent just 10 seconds into the first song so it looked like we were miming. Truly awful.

What's your crowd-pleasing number?Work and Prairie always get a good reaction when we play them live.

Chatting between songs - good or bad?More music, less chat, we say.

Groupies – would you?Would we what? The only groupies we get lose interest pretty quick because we get them to help load our van.

How many roadies does it take to change your lightbulbs? No room for an entourage unfortunately with all this equipment.

Have you a special stage wardrobe?Have you not seen our press shots? That should answer your question.

Any useful stage tips?Never eat a burrito and drink a bottle of vodka before a gig.

Who's invited to your aftershow party?Everyone! We always enjoy a drink after a gig with anyone who was there.
