Nicky Siano

Nicky Siano is the New Yorker whose backstory reads like the story of house music itself. Siano was reared at David Mancuso’s Loft parties, and his work at The Gallery in the mid-1970s put his name up in lights as a DJ with real style, flamboyance and musical intensity. He later DJed at such Big Apple favourites as Studio 54, Le Jardin and Body & Soul, but The Gallery is what defined him, as the “Nicky Siano’s Gallery Classics” compilation from a few years ago shows.
