Tá súil ag an cholúnaí seo gur mó Gaeilge a bheidh le cluinstin ar TG4 le linn an olltoghcháin ná mar atá ar phreasráitis an stáisiúin. Chuir an stáisiún dhá phreasráiteas chun an cholúin seo faoi chlár nua, Barúil, a thabharfaidh deis do vótóirí páirt ghníomhach a ghlacadh sa toghchán.
"OPEN AIR FOR VIEWERS IN TG4 ELECTION COUNTDOWN," a scairtear, "TG4 viewers will be able to air their views in live phone-ins to political panels on each of the three Wednesdays leading up to the May 17th General Election. Hosted and chaired by regular Nuacht TG4 weekend newscaster, Maolra Mac Donnchadha, the 30-minute "VOTA (sic) 2002 - Do Bharuil (sic)" will go out at 8 p.m. each Wednesday on May 1st, 8th and 15th.
"Over the three weeks we will be bringing on representatives of all the political parties as well as other candidates to give viewers the widest possible mix to put their questions and views to," explained Nuacht TG4 Chief News Editor, Michael Lally."
Beidh aistriúchán comhuaineach go Gaeilge ar fáil, déarfainn, do dhuine ar bith atá ar bheagán Béarla.
