Gardai are investigating a threat by animal rights activists to fire bomb any Irish port that resumes live cattle exports to the Middle Fast and North Africa. An Irish cell of the UK based Animal Liberation Front plans to step up its campaign against live exports, beginning with an arson attack on Cork port, a female caller to the Examiner newspaper claimed at the weekend.
