Silver Jews fans were left broken-hearted last weekend when David Berman announced the dissolution of the band he founded in 1989.
Posting on the alt-rockers' website, he claimed an eagerness to move on before their quality deteriorated: "If I continue to record I might accidentally write the answer song to Shiny Happy People."
