Hooray for global warming! The Temple Bar Cultural Trust has announced a season of Christmas films to be screened in Dublin's Meeting House Square on Thursday and Saturday evenings throughout December.

The seasonal delights include It's a Wonderful Life, Scrooged (above), Miracle on 34th Streetand "the 1985 favourite" Santa Claus: The Movie.What? No Die Hard?The films are free and tickets are not required. Further information can be found at the Trust's website. www.templebar.ie
