Tuesday's fine art and furniture auction at the Thomas Adams & Co rooms in Blackrock, Co Dublin, features a mahogany, oval boardroom table with 22 Chippendalestyle chairs, which is expected to make £4,000-£6,000. A set of 12 George IV dining chairs has an estimate of £7,000-£8,000, a George III-style mahogany partner's desk is expected to fetch £1,500-£2,000 and a Victorian giltwood, serpentine, console table with grey veined marble top surmounted by a large giltwood mirror has an estimate of £1,200-£1,500.
Other lots include: a Victorian oak rolltop pedestal desk (£400-£600); a longcase clock by George Walker of Dublin (£400-£600); and an English 51-piece silver part canteen dating from 1917 (£700-£900).
