There’ll be two Irish venues missing from Record Store Day celebrations this year. The annual event, which will take place on April 16th, aims to entice music-lovers in to their local independent record shops to spend money and watch bands. Unfortunately, Dublin’s City Discs has announced it will close next month. The sad news comes after the news that Galway’s Zhivago Records has also gone into voluntary liquidation.
