Pop Corner: Tove Lo is all a guy could ever want; Zayn is happy to be scruffy

Meanwhile, Fifth Harmony unite against Twitter trolls and we pick our must-sees for Electric Picnic 2016

TRACK OF THE WEEK
Tove Lo - Cool Girl

Self-knowing and referential, Tove Lo is one of the few pop stars who can sing "I roll my eyes at you, boy" and make it sound like a come-on. In this song, she sings that she's all a guy could ever want, while still mocking the idea of a 'cool girl' who is totally constructed around their beau's expectations, y'know?

Hero of the Week is Dinah Fifth Harmony. She defended her bandmate Normani who had been on the receiving end of abuse on Twitter. Dinah wrote: "Over the past 48 hours, I have heard and seen too much over an issue that is so small, but yet has become so big. With all the pain in the world right now, it shocks me each and every day that people still devote their time to bringing others down other than lifting them up . It does not make you"cool" . It does not make you "clever". It makes you a damn coward, nothing less."

Meanwhile, Zayn told GQ about his style inspiration. "It's about being happy to look a bit scruffy. I just got into the whole rock sort of feel to clothes - big boots, skinny jeans, and dark T-shirt, and rings. Just the grungy feel." So that's all cleared up now.

Zero of the Week is touring, Piers from Rudimental told the Evening Standard. It's disconnected from reality, he says. "You never get the chance to wash your own clothes, cook for yourself. Or do simple things. You miss your family. There are all sorts of things people don't see. I miss playing football on a Sunday morning with mates and venting that frustration on a striker."
