TRACK OF THE WEEK
Go to Work by Nadine Coyle Nadine from Girls Aloud has only gone and made a comeback. And she's working with her former team at Xenomania, home of bangers such as Biology, Love Machine and Sound of the Underground. So it's safe to say that Go to Work is not a subtle slice of tropical house. Instead it's the pop equivalent of chucking everything into the kitchen sink, along with the fridge freezer to boot. It's brilliant, obviously.
HERO OF THE WEEK
Lady Gaga opened up about her issues with chronic pain at a press conference: "There is an element and a very strong piece of me that believes pain is a microphone. My pain does me no good unless I transform it into something that is ... There is a degree of self-deprecation and shame with feeling in pain a lot. And I want people that watch it – that think there's no way I live [with chronic pain] because they see me dance and sing and don't think that could possibly be – to know I struggle with things like them." Meanwhile, Zayn told the fader he's a Taylor Swift fan. "I think she's successful, and I think she deserves her success because she's worked hard. That's just how I look at it. I did a song with her, it was fun, she was professional. She gets on with my girlfriend, they're good friends. I don't have a bad word to say about her. She's cool."
ZERO OF THE WEEK
Social media, according to Selena Gomez. She told Time magazine, "It's already difficult to get up every day and just feel good about yourself without seeing the highlights of everyone else's life. That's why I like being vulnerable with my fans on social media. I like that they've seen my mistakes. I try to use that as a way to connect with them. That's all I can do. I hope that they know that strength doesn't mean that you have to put on a facade. Strength is being vulnerable."
