Artist: Chick Corea & Béla Fleck
Genre: Jazz
Label: Concord

Pianist Chick Corea and banjo player Béla Fleck are a match made in musical heaven: both are noted virtuosos, and both have achieved that rare distinction of being recognisable by their sound alone.Piano and banjo is hardly the most obvious combination but their 2006 studio album The Enchantment was a surprise hit, mapping out some uncharted common ground between jazz and bluegrass. Since then, Corea and Fleck have toured extensively and this live double album is culled from the freewheeling dialogue that has developed between them on stage. The duo is the most exposed of formats, allowing for maximum interaction between the musicians and an open exchange of ideas, and Two is a light-hearted portrait of a deepening musical friendship between two of the greats of modern American music.
