Super Monkey Ball Bounce is a classic arcade game that has made its way on to a variety of platforms over the years, including mobile. But as a classic, does that mean it should be left untouched by those seeking to reinvent it? In short. Yes it should. It's always a bit of a gamble when a game proclaims (in capitals) that there is an ALL NEW way to play. Sometimes it pays off, sometimes it doesn't. In principle, following the story, you are rescuing AiAi's kidnapped friends. In practice, you are bouncing AiAi and his monkey friends around levels, hitting targets, collecting bananas, gaining bonuses, and generally setting yourself up for a major dose of motion sickness. It feels like classic Peggle, with a simian twist. Sadly, Super Monkey Ball Bounce is one of those games you could easily leave. It doesn't feel enough like the original game, nor does it do enough differently to stand out on its own. It's free to play though, so it's worth a try.  sega.com
