DEALERS from overseas were busy buying at Keighery's auction rooms in Waterford last Monday, where fittings from a Co Wexford chemist shop tripled their estimate to make a total of £6,000. Buyers from Austria and Germany outbid Irish dealers and private buyers for some of the best pieces from the shop, including perfume and toiletries cabinets, nests of drawers and a compartmented display stand. In the same sale a Victorian D end table made £2,200 and a set of six rosewood dining chair fetched £820.
