Star Wars back from hiatus

You thought we were joking. But Star Wars news is back after a week’s holiday

You thought we were joking. But Star Wars news is back after a week’s holiday. Two of the series’ stars are reported to be interested in returning for Disney’s expansion of the franchise.

Ewan McGregor, everyone’s second favourite Obi Wan Kenobi, has expressed a desire to appear in one of the stand-alone episodes. “I think it’s a good idea,” McGregor told MTV News. “The only bit that I could get away with doing is after the last one I made, Episode III, before Alec Guinness, there’s that period where he’s in the desert.”

Elsewhere in the empire, Harrison Ford is reported to be close to signing on for the official seventh episode. “Harrison Ford will reprise his role as Han Solo in the upcoming Star Wars movies. The deal is done. It’s huge,” the story says. The source? Umberto “El Mayimbe” Gonzalez of Fox News Latino.

Don’t snigger. He’s knows as much as you or me (unless you’re Harrison Ford).
