More Warner Brothers news. The studio, long tolerant sponsors of Stanley Kubrick, has reportedly uncovered 17 minutes of lost footage from the director's 2001: A Space Odyssey.

The footage includes some additional footage of the "Dawn of Man" sequence and a scene where HAL severs radio communication between the Discoveryand Frank Poole's drifting pod. It is not yet known what the studio plans to do with the new scenes.
