Explore wilderness, wildness and the "cinematic sublime" in a remote site in the Inagh Valley in Connemara. Wild-screen/Scáil-fhiáin is an experimental art film event in the Inagh Hatchery, a little-known modernist industrial space designed by Scott Tallon Walker Architects.
There are guided nature walks, works by luminaries such as Dorothy Cross, Werner Herzog and Vivienne Dick, and food by the Biddy Early of modern cuisine, Katie Sanderson, a chef-cum-hedgerow-gatherer. Tickets for Wild-screen, on March 7th and 8th, are free, but must be prebooked.
