Contents of Meath period house to be sold

The contents of a period home near Dunshaughlin, Co Meath, will be among the items for sale at Town & Country's next fine-art and furniture auction tomorrow at Lower Ormond Quay, Dublin. Frequent dinner party hosts may be interested in the 14ft Victorian mahogany dining table, which has an estimate of £4,000-£6,000. A 19th-century Victorian four-door bookcase (£4,000-£6,000) would be an ideal resting place for larger collections of books.

A large set of Victorian mahogany dining chairs (£1,800-£2,000) and a set of eight chippendale-style mahogany dining chairs (£900-£1,200) will also be offered for sale tomorrow. Viewing today is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and tomorrow from 10 a.m. to noon.
