Celebrations are kicking off at Ballinlough Castle in Co Westmeath as festival goers begin setting up camp for the 2015 Body and Soul festival.

This year's 3-day arts & music festival, which coincides with the summer solstice, includes late night discos, a masquerade ball, steaming hot tubs, seaweed baths as well as an impressive and diverse line-up of international music acts.

Friday night will see Lamb, Savages and Dan Deacon take to the stage while Talaboman and New Jackson play the Midnight Circus.

On Saturday, Shit Robot, Flight Facilities, Super Furry Animals and Sohn are up and Sunday's acts include Leftfield and Tiga.

This year's Body & Soul also includes a wide ranging line-up of culinary delights, with a festival ethos of keeping the food organic, fair trade, locally sourced and unprocessed where possible.

If you're heading to the festival, there will be buses running to and from Custom House Quay in Dublin from Friday afternoon till Monday morning.

Drivers are advised to fill their cars up with people and drive efficiently as part of the festival policy of ‘travel better’.

The people behind Body & Soul are asking drivers to take a look at their eco driving tips and to check out the Irish lift sharing greendriveapp which allows users to calculate their carbon savings.

Temperatures over the weekend are expected to remain in the high teens and early twenties. Saturday morning will be cloudy with some patchy light rain but brighter weather will follow from the west for the afternoon and evening.

Sunday will be a fresh day with sunny spells and scattered showers with temperatures between 14-19 degrees.
