An assault case involving law professor and barrister Diarmuid Phelan has been further adjourned to allow for disclosure from the State side.
Mr Phelan (56), also known as Diarmuid Rossa Phelan, is charged with assaulting a man in south Co Wexford more than three years ago.
The case came before Judge John Cheatle at a sitting of Wexford District Court on Tuesday.
Mr Phelan, who lectures at Trinity College Dublin, previously appeared before Judge Cheatle accused of assaulting Kevin McHale causing him harm at Reedstown, Tacumshane on August 26th, 2021. The offence is contrary to section three of the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Persons Act.

Sgt Victor Isdell said the case was listed to fix a date for hearing.
Tim Cummings, solicitor for Mr Phelan, said he was making an application for disclosure of documents from the State.
Judge Cheatle said he would grant the application and put the matter in for hearing on April 7th next.
At an earlier hearing, the District Court accepted jurisdiction after the Director of Public Prosecutions said the assault charge could be heard at that level.
A condition of bail for Mr Phelan is that he must have no contact, direct or indirect, with the injured party.
