On Monday, July 8th, 2019, following an incident at a Dublin nightclub, The Irish Times reported that gardaí were investigating whether there was any link to the Longitude festival which took place that weekend.
We are happy to confirm that, as the festival promoters MCD Productions pointed out at the time, and as the Garda Press Office subsequently stated, there was no link of any kind between the festival and the incident at the nightclub.
The Irish Times regrets the error and any difficulty it created for MCD Productions.
