Two teenage girls suffered serious injuries in a road incident in Dublin city centre on Monday afternoon.
At about 2.35pm, gardaí and emergency services were alerted to a collision involving a car and two pedestrians on the Amiens Street junction.
Both girls were taken to Children’s Health Ireland at Temple Street. The car driver was uninjured but was medically examined at the scene.
Gardaí at Store Street are appealing for witnesses to contact them. Anyone with camera footage who was travelling on Amiens Street or in the vicinity between 2.30pm and 3pm on Monday is asked to make it available to gardaí.
