After an incredible debut last year, the Fleetwood Paints Challenge returns to the PTSB Ideal Home Show for the second year, and the wait to crown this year’s winner is almost over. The competition is now closed, and the winner will be announced live on Friday, April 11th at the show.
The PTSB Ideal Home Show returns to the RDS Simmonscourt from Friday, April 11th - Sunday, April 13th, bringing together Ireland’s top home improvement professionals and suppliers to showcase the latest innovations in home building and renovations. And this year, the Fleetwood Paints Challenge is bigger than ever.
Industry experts Aileen Hogan (Shabby.ie founder & Fleetwood Upcycling Ambassador) and Fionnuala Moran (RTÉ 2FM presenter & sustainability advocate) have teamed up with the Fleetwood Paints team to select the ultimate transformation. The judges have had the tough job of choosing a winner from some incredible upcycling transformations, which will be revealed this weekend.
The top prize includes a €500 Fleetwood Paints voucher to fuel future projects, along with a two-night stay for two at the stylish Leonardo Hotel Dublin Christchurch, complete with dinner on an evening of their choice. Located in the heart of the city, the hotel offers modern rooms with mini fridges rainfall showers, 50″ smart TVs, and the ultra-comfy DREAM bed. Guests can relax in the chic bar and restaurant and savour fresh Lavazza coffee as you soak in the vibrant city atmosphere —an ideal retreat after a day of inspiration at the show. - In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.
- The winners will be notified by email. The winner must claim the prize within 30 days of the notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the Promotion rules.
- Where a winner has successfully claimed the prize, the Promoter shall dispatch, or arrange to dispatch, the prize to the winner at the earliest opportunity. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted as placing an obligation on the Promoter to dispatch, or arrange to dispatch, the prize within a specified period of time.
- The Promoters’ decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The winners’ details (name and county) will be made available on The Irish Times website.
- The winner may be required to participate in unpaid publicity arising from this promotion.

- Prizes are non transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by Irish law and the Courts of the Republic of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
