Wisetek appoints three new men

Heavy hitters to advise on international expansion

Electronics waste specialist, Wisetek, has beefed up its board with three heavy hitters.

The Cork company has appointed Intel's former Irish boss, Jim O'Hara, former EMC senior vice president, Dick Lehane and recently-departed Bord Gáis chief executive, John Mullins as non executives to its board.

Electronic waste
The company processes, refines, reworks and sells for re-use "waste" from electronics companies, helping them to comply with EU and national regulations for dealing with such material.

Wisetek has grown from a standing start in 2007 to almost 200 staff, earning a few "fastest-growing" and "high-growth" awards along the way.

Expansion plans
It has added the three new Wisetek men to its board to advice on its expansion in the United States and the Far East.
