Irish software localisation company, VistaTEC has been awarded a $250,000 (£244,000) research grant by the EU to create a multilingual guide to ecommerce implementation.

VistaTEC has formed a new independent company, GlobalTEC, specially for the purpose. The new company hopes to attract up to $5 million in venture capital over the next year and to recruit more than 40 staff.
