MR RICHARD Branson's group Virgin has teamed up with RM, a supplier of information technology to schools, to provide an education service to homes via the Internet, it emerged yesterday.

RM, which also supplies IT to colleges and universities, said it had signed an exclusive agreement with Virgin Net.

Virgin, which has designed an Internet access service for the UK consumer, aims to launch in November.
