Corel, the US software company which employs 190 at its European base in Dublin, said yesterday it lost $30.4 million (#26.23 million) last year, on a turnover of $246.8 million (#212.96 million). Turnover was down from $260.6 million (#224.87 million) in 1997 when the company made a loss of $231.7 million.
