Truce called on illegal software

The Business Software Alliance (BSA) is holding its first 30-day truce for Irish businesses using illegal software

The Business Software Alliance (BSA) is holding its first 30-day truce for Irish businesses using illegal software. The truce during November will enable any business which suspects it may have illegal software on its systems to use the alliance's GASP audit tool to carry out a self-audit without any danger of legal action.

The BSA will encourage businesses to make use of its website www.bsatruce.com for advice, assistance and tools during November.
