Trinity College communications chief moves on

Bernard Mallee takes up post in Middle East

Trinity College’s director of communications and marketing, Bernard Mallee, is moving to the Middle East to work as an education consultant.

He will provide counsel on policy and communications in the region where there is huge public investment in the education sector.

The biggest project is Education City, a 14 square kilometre campus near Doha in Qatar hosting schools, research facilities and branches of some of the world's top universities.

A former journalist and special adviser in the Department of Education and Skills and the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Mr Mallee’s task in Trinity was to improve internal and external communications and its relationship with Government.
