The Nasdaq-quoted but Irish-registered biotechnology company, Trinity Biotech, announced yesterday that it had sold its US OTC pregnancy diagnostic business to Applied Biotech, a subsidiary of Sybron International Corporation, for $3 million (£2 million) in cash. Trinity, which has a manufacturing facility in Sandyford, Dublin, will receive further payments of up to $750,000 (£500,000) depending on the achievement of certain agreed targets.
