Ryanair is to open two new bases in Morocco this year as part of a $210 million investment in the region.
The no-frills airline will open bases at Fez and Marrakech, basing three aircraft at the two airports.
It has also added Essaouira and Rabat to its airports, expanding to 60 routes and eight airports in the area.
Ryanair said it would base one aircraft at Fez, adding four new routes to Lille, Nantes, Nimes and St Etienne to bring the total to 15 routes. Marrakech will get two aircraft and seven new routes, bringing the total to 22. New routes between Baden, Bergerac, Cuneo, Dole, Munich, Paris and Tours will open, and the base is expected to handle about one million passengers per year.
