Irish airline will fly to Birmingham, Budapest and Fuertaventura

Ryanair will launch new services to Britain and continental Europe from Shannon Airport in coming days, the airport's operator confirmed on Tuesday.

The airline will begin flying to Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands once a-week from October 31st, Birmingham in the UK twice weekly from November 1st and Budapest, in Hungary twice weekly from November 3rd.

Ryanair has already announced that it will fly once a-week to Turin in Italy from December.

Mary Considine, chief executive, Shannon Group, said three new destinations would bring to 18 the number of services that Ryanair will offer from the mid-western airport.
