Ryanair has said 85 per cent of its 62,000 flights arrived on time at their destinations last month.
The airline noted the figure was down on the 90 per cent punctuality achieved in July 2015, but said this was due to air-traffic control issues in the UK, France and Germany, as well as poor weather.
"Ryanair carried 11.3 million customers in July with 85 per cent of our 62,000 flights arriving on time, despite air-traffic control issues in the UK, Germany and France, and bad weather across Europe, " said spokesman Robin Kiely.
