A DERRY company, Perfecseal Ltd, which manufactures sterile packaging for the medical industry, is to merge with Bemis Company in the US. Bemis is the largest flexible packaging company in North America, according to Perfecseal.

The Derry company, which was set up in 1984, becomes a joint venture with Paper Manufacturers Company, Philadelphia. Consideration for the deal was not disclosed.
