US software company ClickUp to create 200 jobs in Dublin

All-in-one productivity platform to establish its European headquarters in Irish capital

ClickUp, which has developed an all-in-one productivity platform, is to establish its European headquarters in Dublin and intends to create 200 jobs over the next two years.

The San Diego-based company said active recruitment for the new roles is already underway with the company looking to staff to work across sales, customer success, marketing, support, finance and HR.

The expansion comes shortly after ClickUp raised $400 million in a Series C funding round last month in a move that gives the company a $4 billion valuation.

ClickUp said the new office will open early in the New Year and will provided services for the more than 275,000 European teams already using its solutions.

The company, whose customers include McDonald's, Netflix and Booking. com, provides a set of tools including project management, document collaboration, spreadsheets, chat and goals from a unified platform.

Founded in 2017, the software-as-a-service company said it intends to invest in localised versions of its platform for France, Germany and Spain to support the continued growth across Europe, with further localisations also planned.

"When we announced our funding last month, we promised ambitious expansion plans, and this is exactly what we're delivering," says Mark Stoddard, head of international operations at ClickUp.

“We have been impressed by the deep expertise and great supply of multilingual tech talent in and around Dublin, and we see our European office as playing a vital role in ClickUp’s continued global expansion. We’re excited to bring ClickUp to Ireland and provide a diverse range of jobs, while adding to the already world-class tech community,” he added.
