Tech Tools: The DoBox

If you’ve been toying with the idea of ditching the laptop for an iPad full time, this Kickstarter project could push you into taking the plunge.

The DoBox allows you to connect your Apple device – whether it’s an iPad or an iPhone – into a MacBook Pro of sorts by connecting you to all sorts of external devices.

That includes flash drives, hard drives, keyboards, printers, TVs, projectors, printers, speakers – almost anything you can think of. It has built-in storage and a card reader, and will even charge devices over USB.

The DoBox works wirelessly so you don’t have to hook your device up to the box with a cable. It’s still in production, so it won’t make an appearance until next year, provided it gets the full funding.
