Tech Tools: Parrot takes Hydrofoil Drone to the water

New drone multitasks for both sea and sky

If your drone can only take to the skies, you’re missing out. Parrot’s latest drone can traverse both sea and sky, with a couple of tweaks in between. When it’s in water mode, the drone is attached to hydrofoils that glide through the water and a hydrodynamic hull that allows you to perform some agile moves and reach speeds of up to 6 miles per hour. Then when you want to try out some aerial manoeuvers, the mini drone can be detached from the foils and hull, freeing it up to take to the sky. Like other Parrot drones before it, it uses your smartphone or tablet as the controller.Time to brush up on your skills?
