Tech Tools: 3Doodler Start

The plastics used are BPA-free and biodegradable

Remember the 3Doodler pen that allowed you to sketch what you wanted, drawing in the air in plastic? There were some really impressive creations like the 3D Eiffel Tower I spotted (I’ve never been much good at recreating anything too arty myself). There was one big warning on it: not suitable for children. That was mainly due to the incredibly hot tip on the pen that melted the plastic material used for creating the models.

But the company has redesigned the pen for children, creating the 3Doodler Start. Aimed at those from eight years and up, there are no hot parts, the plastics used are BPA-free and biodegradable, and it’s wireless so you aren’t stuck beside a power outlet.
