Marketing platform SuperAwesome has hit a major milestone, reaching 13 million unique users across the web and mobile every month.

The venture, which is backed by entrepreneur Dylan Collins, has outpaced other popular virtual worlds in the UK in terms of user numbers.

Aimed at children between six and 16 years of age, SuperAwesome has a number of channels across physical, digital and mobile, including discovery platform Box of Awesome, the children’s swapexchange platform Swapit, and research report YouthScape. The company also launched a mobile kids advertising network, Kids Network, which has grown rapidly and covers browser, mobile and online video.

The company has attracted top brands such as Disney, Warner Bros, Activision and Nintendo.

Chief executive Dylan Collins said the success of the platform was a clear testament to the team and the vision.

"Mobile has been absolutely exploding for us and we're seeing some incredibly innovative work by clients like Disney who are really taking advantage of the platforms as well as exciting new partners like Stride and Prejudice," he said. "The recent data from Facebook about younger teenagers starting to reduce their time on the service underpins the need for real kids expertise in all areas of digital kids and teens marketing.

“This generation is genuinely different from what we’ve seen before and they’re really starting to have an impact on the world around them”
