Sony headphones go high-res

Sony is one of the companies behind a push on high-res audio products, and looking at its new product line-up, it's really going for it.

Among the options are these Bluetooth headphones, which go by the catchy name MDR 1ABT. To get the most out of the sound quality, you’ll need a high-res audio source, but even if you haven’t got the spare cash to invest in that just yet, these headphones are still worth considering.

Why? First of all, they sound great, even on normal audio sources. Secondly, they’re comfortable on your ears. But most interestingly, they include gesture controls for your music. So you can swipe and tap to increase and decrease volume, pause or play tracks, and it’s all very easy to pick up. No more fiddling around with buttons – it’s all right there.
