The IT Crowd captured nerd culture perfectly while this show satirises that particular Silicon Valley culture that eschews weekend-long sessions of Magic: The Gathering and craft ales in favour of "codeathons" and sushi to go. Silicon Valley is created by Mike Judge who brought us Beavis and Butthead and the excellent cult classic Office Space ("The thing is, Bob, it's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care."). It premiered this Sunday in the US and will hopefully be available here soon.
